Family Fest off to a good start

Yesterday Family Fest got off to a great start with more than 100 volunteers attending orientation and participating in the block party last night in Lake Delton. At the block party scores and scores of international students came out and the gospel of Jesus Christ was shared with many of them.

Today the volunteers will start Backyard Bible Clubs, light construction, ESL, international student ministry, block parties, and much more. As local leaders, we are very grateful for these many volunteers who have come to minister in Jesus' name. We are also thankful to Pine Valley Church in Wisconsin Dells and River of Life Church in Portage for being the two main host churches for this event. Their vision to reach the lost in the Dells is a blessing to all of those who are involved.

This Sunday, July 19, our orientation for Family Fest will begin at 2:00 p.m. With that in mind, we would like to remind all our ministry coordinators to arrive by 1:00 p.m. The orientation will be at Antiqua Bay Hotel and Resort which is located in Wisconsin Dells right by Burger King.

As ministry coordinators, this time will be important for you to meet the people who will be serving with you and give them the assignments which you will be overseeing. We encourage you to bring poster board with the name of your ministry so you can be easily identified when the big group breaks into smaller groups at the end of our orientation.
