Results from Prayer & Brainstorming in the Dells

Last night we had a GREAT and very eventful gathering time in the Dells.  We only had 7 arrive, but the meeting time was extremely productive.  We met for a little over 2 hours at the Great Wolf Lodge in a conference room.

We spent the 1st hour dedicated to prayer & reading of Scriptures.  We also enjoyed times of silence to listen and be still.  I feel that the Lord spoke to us.  

The 2nd hour was dedicated to brain storming ideas & dreams for ministry in the Dells, specifically this summer with "Family Fest" coming up.  We had some great ideas shared... and possibly might see some very clear direction forming soon from this.  We will plan a follow up meeting to narrow down the list and work on details for what we will and can do this summer. 

Caryn & Alisha took notes during the brain storming and will compile their lists together and post them on this blog, and they will also send them by e-mail to the prayer team.  That being said, we are forming a group e-mail list to make it easier to communicate with everyone.  If you would like to be updated on what is going on with this work in the Dells, so you can be active with us, or pray with us... please let me know.  You can e-mail me at: Bob@PortageChurch.org

Postponed until December 10th

The news says that we will be getting 5 - 6 inches more of snow today & tonight and that roads will be slippery.  I will be postponing our prayer meeting tonight for 1 week.  So we will plan to meet on Wednesday, December 10th from 6 PM - 8 PM - same location and room.

Reminder & Car Pool Info for Prayer & Brain Storming

For those of you coming for the prayer & brainstorming in the Dells... if you would like to carpool with other people, they will be leaving River of Life's worship center at 5:30 pm. So please arrive before 5:30 pm to carpool together.

A reminder that we are meeting at 6 PM at Great Wolf Lodge in "Cub Room # 2".

We are meeting with the expectation of prayer & brainstorming... asking God how He might have us active in His work of reaching this area with the gospel. Please eat dinner before you arrive and have your children arranged for with babysitting. I look forward to this time with you, and I pray that God speak to us in a mighty way as we depend on Him.
